Policy frameworks
CookieHub provides a range of policy frameworks that allow you to control the functionality of your cookie notice and preference dialogs. With policy frameworks, you can tailor the user experience to align with various data privacy regulations and standards.
By selecting the appropriate policy framework for each region, you can ensure that your cookie consent management solution meets the specific regulatory requirements in different regions. CookieHub's policy frameworks provide a flexible and customizable solution for organizations to comply with data privacy regulations and to offer transparency and control to their users.
CookieHub choices
CookieHub Choices is our standard framework that enables users to consent to cookie categories. It is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Directive. With CookieHub Choices, you can customize the cookie banner's appearance and behavior to fit your website's needs. You can choose which cookie categories to include and describe them to your users.
Additionally, CookieHub Choices enables you to set up a preference center where users can view and change their cookie settings. You can also configure your settings to block certain categories of cookies until users have given their consent.
CCPA/CPRA
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a privacy law that applies to businesses operating in California. CCPA/CPRA gives California residents the right to know what personal information is being collected about them and to opt-out of the sale of their personal information. CookieHub's implementation with the IAB US privacy framework and IAB GPP provides the necessary features to help you comply with this law.
With CCPA/CPRA, you can customize your cookie banner to inform California residents about their rights under the law. You can also configure your settings to block certain categories of cookies until users have given their consent.
IAB TCF 2.1
The Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) is an industry-standard created by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to help publishers comply with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. TCF 2.1 is the current version of this framework, and it provides a standardized way for publishers to gather user consent for personalized advertising.
CookieHub allows you to customize the cookie banner to comply with TCF 2.1 requirements and comply with Google CMP requirements. It enables you to display the TCF consent message, which includes information about the cookies being used, the purpose of the cookies, and the third parties involved. You can also configure your settings to block certain categories of cookies until users have given their consent.
IAB TCF 2.2
On 16 May 2023, TCF v2.2 was launched to respond to the changes and needs of the industry, and introduce a number of iterations that relates to the Action Plan submitted to and validated by the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD). After 20 November 2023, the TCF 2.1 will be deprecated and all users must update to the updated TCF 2.2 version.
