Google Additional Consent Mode

Starting from January 16, 2024, publishers and developers utilizing Google AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob will be mandated to employ a Consent Management Platform (CMP) that has earned Google's certification and has seamlessly integrated with the IAB's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) for displaying advertisements to users within the European Economic Area or the UK.

Publishers must ensure they collaborate with a Google-certified CMP when delivering advertisements to users located in the European Economic Area or the UK. Google-certified CMPs undergo rigorous evaluation against Google's certification criteria, primarily focusing on TCF compliance. In instances where publishers employ the TCF and work with ad technology providers not registered with the TCF, Google currently supports such arrangements through its Additional Consent specification, and this support will persist.

CookieHub is proud to be recognized as a Google-certified CMP, ensuring publishers have a compliant solution readily available.
